High School Career Expo coming soon

The High School Career Expo will be hosting live talks and interactive programmes.

ON May 17 and 18, a national High School Career Expo will be held at The Glen Shopping Centre.

In association with SABC Education, the exhibition will provide both primary and middle school learners with opportunities and guidance on how to choose a high school and to select subjects of choice. For teenagers in attendance, the expo will help to equip them with the necessary tools to succeed in high school and tertiary education and beyond.

Prospective students will meet with representatives from a wide range of universities, technikons, colleges and other tertiary institutions. They will gain more insight as they are given career advice by leading field specialists to better understand the expectations and roles of their potential professions. They will also learn how to secure student loans and bursaries, and how to manage finances when living away from home

The High School Career Expo will host live talks and interactive programmes throughout the national tour, targeting thousands of young individuals from all walks of life as well as their parents, education institutions, private sector businesses and even government officials.

The event is free to attend. For more information, visit the High School Career Expo website and social media channels: www.career-expo.co.za, https://twitter.com/StudentExpo1 and https://www.facebook.com/pg/HighSchoolCareerExpo/.
