One suspect has been fatally wounded and two more apprehended after a high speed chase ensued between the suspects and Reaction units on Monday, 29 October 2018.
Two properties in New Redruth area were targeted last night where by all the outdoor beams were stolen.
Reaction units managed to stop the vehicle on the onramp to the N12 west direction Soweto. Two more suspects fled the scene on foot.
The vehicle has been involved with theft of beams throughout the Alberton and Brackenhurst area during the past few weeks.
A total of 9 Outdoor beams was found in the vehicle valued at approximately R27 000 in total.
Well done to the Reaction officers on the swift response and action taken.
Two suspects will be taken by SAPS Alberton, One suspect has been declared dead on scene.
