Clean-up in Townsview

“I have to ask, why do the community drop their litter and throw it out of their vehicles?"

OWNERS of the Heavenly Boutique Guesthouse, Daniel and Rebotile Emamere, have once again, at their own expense, cleaned up the pavement and centre island both approaching and going away from their guesthouse.

The guesthouse is situated on the corner of Prarie, Valda and Albert streets, Townsview, and Daniel said after the winter months the gutters, pavement and centre island were littered with rubbish, overgrown shrubs and weeds.

“I have to ask, why do the community drop their litter and throw it out of their vehicles? I’m sure it’s not just the locals who are responsible but also motorists driving through the area. It was looking such an eyesore before we cleaned up.

“We are looking at making a garden on the corner of Prarie and Valda streets, at the actual back of our guesthouse. It will help in making the gateway to Rosettenville look presentable and obviously for us, we don’t wish our guests to encounter such a mess,” the Emameres said.
