WATCH: How to request assistance using Namola safety App

Mondeor CPF Precinct has urged residents to download and utilise Namola safety App for urgent assistance in case of any emergencies including accidents or criminal attacks.

Mondeor CPF Precinct has urged residents to download and utilise Namola safety App for urgent assistance in case of any emergencies including accidents or criminal attacks.

Namola is a free crime response App that allows users to share their GPS coordinates, name and nature of the emergency with a 24/7 response call centre.

For genuine alerts, police, other emergency response and citizen responders are then dispatched and monitored.

According to Mondeor CPF precinct chairperson Michelle Pelser the application will make a huge difference in the community.

“CPF Mondeor would like our residents to try the application for any emergency weather you are at home, away on holiday or in your vehicle travelling. If one presses the panic button on the application, Namola will make sure that the victim receives the assistance needed,” she said.

Michelle also said the application would help Mondeor CPF receive all notifications of anyone or any emergencies in its precinct.

“We believe in the application and its ability to save lives and if everyone could download this application, it would really make a difference in our communities and the country at large,” she added.

Namola is South Africa’s fastest growing safety App that has improved efficiencies to alleviate the amount of pressure on 10111 centres by pre-screening alerts.

One of the application’s strengths is the ability to pinpoint the user’s exact location, making it easy for emergency services to find them.

Namola is available at no cost. To turn your phone into a panic button, search for Namola in the Apple App Store or Google Play, or visit Namola.com.
