Bikers Against Rape and Abuse riding for women

More bikers joined along the route.

ON Thursday, August 9, which was Women’s Day, bikers gathered at the Engen Garage Comaro against rape and abuse of women.

SUPPORT: Bikers congregated at the Engen garage, ready to leave for their ride against rape and abuse of women.

The bikers, in support of The Epic Foundation, an organisation founded by Alta McMaster, which supports rape victims, congregated at 8am. From there they rode to Beyers BP Garage in the north, where other bikers and clubs joined, then back via the R21, stopping at the Highveld Engen garage and from there to Springs Rugby Club for a day of fun.

CHILLY START: Cecilia Kruger, Carl Kruger, Derek Steele and Melody Ford, who wrapped up against the cold to ride for The Epic Foundation.

“It was a great day even though the wind was howling and it was really cold. Thank you to all the bikers who rode individually or with different clubs in support of The Epic Foundation,” said Alta.
