Double first place for Mondeor High chess team

A double first place for this winning team.

WINNERS: Front: Ofentse Mogorosi, Oratile Mosue (captain), Lunga Kinene and C Smith (master in charge). Back: Jesse Kramer, Kieran Creswell, Simbarashe Mabaire, Joshua Kramer and Justin d’Hotman de Villiers.

THE Mondeor High Senior A chess team came first in the Johannesburg North West Chess League B Section. They won all of their matches and a total of 115 individual games.

They also came first at the Johannesburg D14 District Chess Championships and went through to the Provincial Chess Championships held at the Voortrekker Monument recently.
