Mondeor Meteors Football Club will be celebrating Nelson Mandela Day
The fun day will take place on July 14 at the club which is situated at Daylesford Avenue, Mondeor. The kick-off will be at 2.15pm.
MONDEOR Meteors Football club will be celebrating Nelson Mandela Day, Mondeor Meteors and will be hosting two underprivileged clubs (Nkosi’s Haven Orphanage and Eldos Spurs) for an afternoon of football and fun.
The fun day will take place on July 14 at the club which is situated at Daylesford Avenue, Mondeor. The kick-off will be at 2.15pm.
The players’ parents will contribute any football gear that is still in good condition to the less fortunate. This is the clubs’ way of giving back as a club to ensure these children can pursue their passion as well.
Mondeor Meteors Football Club, MMFC, is a non-profit organisation run by volunteers that strive to provide all levels of soccer competition for children in the south of Johannesburg. The club is affiliated with the Southern Local Football Association, SLFA, which is an affiliate of the South African Football Association. MMFC is guided by a volunteer executive committee and dedicated parent volunteers.
MMFC has a proud tradition of developing boys’ and girls’ soccer skills, as well as a long history of fielding competitive teams that enjoy success locally and regionally. MMFC is the fastest growing soccer organisation in the south of Johannesburg. More importantly, the club has had a positive impact on the lives of our area youth, their families, and the community.
