Mulbarton Muslim Association gives back to the community

800 food parcels and 600 blankets went out to the needy within different communities.

MULBARTON Muslim Association recently donated food and blankets to the needy in a hamper drive for the holy month of Ramadan.

A total of 800 food parcels and 600 blankets went out to the needy within different communities.

Ward 23 councillor Sarah Wissler expressed gratitude over the charity work of the association.

CHARITY: Some of the food collected that was donated to the needy.

“What a privilege to see the food parcels and blankets that they are sending out to the needy. These people are beyond awesome and their call to help those in need is unwavering,” she said.

“I’m proud to call you my neighbours and I hope you will include me in more of these good works in the future.”

The Mulbarton Muslim Association was established in 2014 by the Muslim brothers of the Mulbarton, Glenvista and Aspen Hills areas.
