Let’s help feral cats this Mandela Day
Together, we can improve the lives of these forgotten animals.
THE SAFE (South African Feral) Foundation, with the help of Creative Academy, would like to honour Madiba this Mandela Day by collecting 100 items in aid of feral cats, which are cats without homes.
Winter has arrived and even though SAFE members feed 600 feral cats daily across Joburg, additional cat food is required for the cold.
The amount of cat food needed is always on the increase and SAFE is very reliant on the community’s donations to keep the kittens’ bellies full.
Donate cat food (dry or wet – any will do!) and old towels and/or blankets that will dry easily, to help keep these feral cats warm during the winter months. Without your help, a tragic fate may await them.
