A MAN was shot and killed in Xavier Street, Crown Gardens on Wednesday night, May 16.
It is still unclear what happened, the Booysens SAPS are investigation a case of murder.
Booysens SAPS, communication officer, Captain Lorraine van Emmerik confirmed the incident. “We have opened a murder docket, circumstances around the murder at this current time is unknown.
We are investigation all the information that we received on the crime scene. The deceased family has been notified. More information will follow,” she said.
An eyewitness spoke to the COURIER about the incident.
“I was going to shop with my son when white Toyota Corolla with two occupants pulled next to the blue BMW 135i with one occupant. They shot the person inside the BMW and sped off,” he said.
