Kay Stow retires from Harvest Christian School

The school wishes her all the best in future endeavours.

HARVEST school recently bade farewell to one of its long-serving members, Kay Stow, who has retired.

Kay was a part of Harvest Christian School since 1 January 1998. She started as a Grade R teacher and later moved into the administrative office, where she was the human resources manager.

In March 2017, she received the award for sport organiser of the year in the South of Johannesburg.

She also received a lifetime award for dedication to sport in the South, where she co-ordinated and managed netball, soccer, athletics and chess with great success.

Because of her love for sport, she reinstated various committees to ensure the success of sport in District D11.

With Kay’s help, Harvest Christian School was awarded the accolade for Best Sport Primary School in 2017.

“To Kay we bid adieu and we want you to know we truly appreciate your dedicated services to our school. We have valued your encouragement, inspiration, support, guidance, leadership and your friendship,” read part of the farewell message to Kay.

“It has always been a pleasure to work with you. So, while we are saddened to see you go, we are confident that you will find the same success and happiness in retirement that you experienced during your time here at Harvest Christian School.

“We wish you the best in your future endeavours. Retirement will surely offer you many new opportunities, which we know you will embrace wholeheartedly, just as you did at our school.”
