Bheki Ephraim Dlamini sentenced to 25 years imprisonment

The station commander of the Mondeor SAPS, Colonel JJ Bezuidenhoudt, welcomed the sentence handed down to the accused.

THE Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court sentenced Bheki Ephraim Dlamini (40) to 25 years imprisonment for a house robbery and rape he committed on April 25, 2016, in Mondeor.

The accused entered the victim’s house, threatening and raping her, then took her belongings.

The station commander of the Mondeor SAPS, Colonel JJ Bezuidenhoudt, welcomed the sentence handed down to the accused and said this will send a message to criminals that the SAPS are committed to fighting crime. He applauded the members who worked tirelessly to ensure the suspect was sentenced. The accused was declared unfit to possess a firearm.
