Charity Drive on course

Volunteers donated the linen and curtains to the new toddler house at TLC Children’s Home.

SAGE Foundation recently sent volunteers to both Door of Hope in Glenvista and TLC Children’s Home in Eikenhof to do painting and ordinary chores to assist them.

They also donated linen and curtains to the new toddler house at TLC Children’s Home.

THANK YOU: Desirae Francisco wishes to thank everyone who donated items for the needy children.

This after a recovered addict from Forest Hill, Desirae Francisco asked the community to help children in need of these homes.

“The response from the community was overwhelming, I received bags and bags of clothes and toys, which were sorted and distributed to TLC Children’s Home and Amcare in Alberton. To all my fellow addicts, recovery is always possible. Stand up and fight for your life. It is worth it and you are worth it,” she said.

Desirae would also like to appeal to businesses in and around the South to please come on board and help her to ‘pay it forward’. She is currently looking for businesses that will donate or sponsor the following items: plain aqueous cream, Epizone A and Epizone E cream, nappies, wet wipes, baby bum cream and baby formula, specifically Nan 1, Nan 2 and Nan Lactose Free.
