Are you going to stop buying processed meat?

Following the recent scandal with listeriosis in our polony and processed meat, we asked locals if they would stop buying processed meat altogether and here are some responses.

Paul Mhlanga “No, my family and I will not carry on eating processed meat. We were shocked when we heard the news but we will wait until we can buy and eat it again.”

Glenda Davids
“No, I used to buy and eat processed meat often but now I will stop.”

Ndumiso Sbanda
“No, I will not buy processed meat until we are told it is safe to do so. We are scared right now to eat processed meat.”

Nombulelo Moholi
“For now, I will get rid of whatever processed meat I have until we have the go ahead that it is safe and then I will buy it again. It will be banished from my home to be safe.”
