Hamlet Foundation hosts Valentine’s Day pageant

THE Hamlet Foundation hosted a Mr and Miss Valentine’s pageant on Friday, February 16 as part of their fund-raising efforts. Parents were invited and supported the pageant fully.

The adults at Hamlet showcased their talents in various ways, with some modelling and others singing, dancing or reciting poetry. Glen Barry, one of the adults, sang One Day at a Time by Marie Gibson, which touched the hearts of many.

SWEET TIMES: Raymond Thesner (first prince), Theola Heldsinger (second princess), Jessica Long (Miss Valentine), Mxolisi Tshishonga (Mr Valentine), Refilwe Thinane (first princess) and Shane Bently (second prince).

All this was made possible by their one and only Albertina Dipuo Moroa, who is the stimulation centre coordinator. She took them from the first step to the finish line. “We say thank you, Albertina, for your patience and tolerance in teaching our adults how to follow instructions,” said management. “Thank you to all our volunteers and staff who made it possible for this big day to take place.”
