Valentine’s babies at Netcare Mulbarton Hospital

“It’s such a wonderful time here when we have babies born on ‘the day of love’ and this year we had five!”

FIVE babies were born on Valentine’s Day this year at Netcare Mulbarton Hospital and the hospital manager, Nellie Koen and maternity staff were overjoyed.

“It’s such a wonderful time here when we have babies born on ‘the day of love’ and this year we had five!” said maternity unit manager, Pam Yako.

The two moms who gave consent for their babies to be photographed were Slindo Khumalo, whose baby boy, Wandile Mgudlwa, weighed 3.6kg and Amanada Mrobongwana, whose baby girl, Sariyah Walker, weighed in at 2.9kg.

“Congratulations to all our mommies who gave birth on St Valentine’s Day,” added Koen.
