MOZA Moyo (28) is a passionate writer and rapper who often works in the South and this is how we managed to have a conversation with the upcoming artist who is sometimes found recording at his friend’s in-house studio in Bassonia.

Moza goes by the name Moza ‘Frique on stage. Born in Zimbabwe, Moza has always been a regular visitor to South Africa as his parents have been here since he was born. Living in South Africa for eight years now, Moza has completed his studies in journalism and public relations through Boston Media House and has worked at Heat magazine, TV Plus magazine, Hype magazine and Media 24.

He has always made music and rapped. Since 2008 Moza has been creating beats. When he was 18 years old he began making new friends here in South Africa with people who were like-minded and together they have been making music.

Moza has been working on a debut album which is expected to drop around June. Thus far the single he has released has been aired on Alex FM, Transafrica Radio and many radio stations in Zimbabwe.

“Music is my passion and I hope to entertain and educate people with it. I love writing but one day I want to be able to pursue my music career full-time,” concluded Moza.
