Meat World’s customers give back

“Thank you to all our customers who gave so generously. It was good to see, especially as the festive season is upon us and is known as the season for giving,” added Jorge.

MEAT World, Comaro Crossing helped three charities in the South recently by asking its customers to purchase a basic meal pack which consisted of rice, lentils, soup powder and salt for an amount of R15 which will feed six children or four adults when cooked.

Customers purchased 500 packs and placed them in one of the three charity baskets which were for Resthaven Ministries, Walking Tall (feeding scheme) and The Lighthouse Disability Centre. Steve Rudd from Resthaven Ministries came into the store to pick up the packets that had been donated to his charity.

“Thank you to all our customers who gave so generously. It was good to see, especially as the festive season is upon us and is known as the season for giving,” added Jorge.
