Jolly lunch for garden club
The winners were Jenny Richardson who won three prizes, and Myrna Botes and Dennis Boddington who won a prize apiece.
JOHANNESBURG South Garden Club held its Christmas party on November 28 in the form of a delicious lunch, which was put together by the club committee members.
The lunch was enjoyed at the Klipriviersberg Recreation Centre in Kibler Park with entertainment provided by Joe Viede, who sang some wonderful Christmassy melodies to get everyone in a festive mood.
Prizes were given to three of the garden club members who had excelled throughout the year in in-house competitions. The winners were Jenny Richardson who won three prizes, and Myrna Botes and Dennis Boddington who won a prize apiece. They each received prizes of Tulip Garden Centre gift vouchers.
A fun afternoon followed with dancing and lots of laughs.
