Nova Pioneer encourage entrepreneurship

A variety in goodies were up for sale.

NOVA Pioneer Ormonde school in the South of Johannesburg took high school career day to a whole new level.

The Grade Sevens had an entrepreneurship day like no other.

BUSINESS UNDERWAY: Some of the pupils were too busy selling to pose for the camera.

Teacher Zeina Elamin said the entrepreneurship day was part of the Grade Sevens’ commerce subject where they would be judged on their business acumen, their planning, their advertising, their stall designs and a few other points in their assessments.

GIRL POWER: Jamie young, Dalia Ahmed and Aesha Cassim.

A variety of goodies were up for sale – from hot dogs, burgers to sweets and bracelets.

The eager business pupils had business on their minds and even approached the CHRONICLE with a sales pitch.

The Grade Sevens braved the heat determined to come out tops on profit.

JEWELLERY MAESTRO: Nishita Solanki shows how jewellery makes cents.
