SEAN Brown and Cecil Coleman, two caring members of the Glenvista community, have donated and wrapped 20 shoeboxes for the Santa Shoebox Project, a charity which puts a smile on the faces of so many underprivileged children of all ages.
Carol Wright, Sean and Cecil’s friend and neighbour, is a member of the Santa Shoebox project’s local committee and has been responsible for attracting many pledges in this regard and last year, through her and her network, over 100 boxes were provided.
This year she is hoping to exceed the 100 boxes and if you are interested in supporting and getting involved in this worthwhile cause, please phone her on 083 601 0446. The deadline for dropping off the shoeboxes is October 25.
