Sassa open day a success

Ward 125, Clr Peter Stewart said it was a truly professional run event to be proud of.

THE SASSA open day event held in Ward 125 on July 27 from 9.30am to 3pm was very successful and well attended.

Over a 100 applications were processed by the very efficient and caring SASSA staff. Absolute dedication and passion were shown by the staff who attended to all types of social grant applications. Not only were residents helped and attended to by the officials to process their grant applications but they also received a well-balanced healthy luncheon with soft drinks.

Ward 125 Clr Peter Stewart said it was a truly professional run event to be proud of. “My sincere appreciation goes out to Pastor Ingrid Naude and the staff of Shekinah Glory Church, Meredale, for making the facility available and their assistance. To all the SASSA staff and their management, Collen Majola and Paul Miyambo, who has always been extremely professional in their approach. I am looking forward to hosting similar events in the near future,” he said.
