AACL chosen for Mandela Day

They created a fundraiser on the Backabuddy site and thanks to fabulous support by the animal loving public, over R22 000 was raised.

THE MDS Group chose Animal Anti-Cruelty League (AACL) Johannesburg as their charity of choice to fulfil their Mandela Day initiative this year.

They created a fund-raiser on the Backabuddy site and thanks to fabulous support by the animal loving public, over R22 000 was raised.

On July 21, a team from MDS Collivery visited and presented Tony Guia, AACL Chairman, with a dummy cheque for the value raised, after which they spent their 67 minutes touring the facilities and interacting with the animals. “We thoroughly enjoyed hosting this warm and friendly group and thank all concerned, for the invaluable support,” added Tony.
