MySchool card sponsors 67 sterilisations in support of Mandela Day

AACL Hospital clientele should call 011 435 0672 during office hours, to find out more about the campaign and what will be required.

MYSCHOOL My Village My Planet has agreed to sponsor 67 sterilisations to needy dogs and cats in celebration of Mandela Day and in support of Animal Anti-Cruelty League (AACL) Johannesburg.

Sterilisations will begin once a week in earnest on August 4 and run through to the second week in November. Thirty pets of AACL’s hospital clients will be chosen to undergo sterilisation, based on strict criteria and 37 pets of AACL’s existing outreach clientele will be drawn from the seven areas the programme currently operates in. Strict terms and conditions will apply. If interested, AACL Hospital clientele should call 011 435 0672 during office hours to find out more about the campaign and what will be required.

Tony Guia Chairman of the AACL had this to say: “As a beneficiary of the MySchool Card programme, we have been able to see real benefit from the partnership over the years. The income generated by our supporters through the programme each month has contributed substantially to the activities that we have been able to undertake in order to improve the lives of animals. MySchool Card is to be congratulated on the extent and reach of their fundraising activities.”
