Seniors register with SASSA
Previously information was given to the elderly on how to apply for their pensions, but it was discovered that many had not applied and needed assistance.
FOLLOWING many meetings to discuss the South Africa Social Security Agency (SASSA) with the Seniors on the Go, Michelle Pelser recently welcomed SASSA members to the Spur at Columbine Square to help the seniors get registered.
Previously information was given to the elderly on how to apply for their pensions, but it was discovered that many had not applied and needed assistance. This prompted the CPF to assist the elderly in this regard and they organised for SASSA to meet the ladies and help them with the registration process.
Spur at Columbine Square sponsored the coffee as per usual and Sasol garage sponsored the muffins for the seniors.
