One shot in garage robbery in Eikenhof

No arrests have been made.

POLICE opened a Business Robbery case after a cashier and staff were robbed at gun point by four unknown males on May 17 at about 3.30am at Shell garage, Old Vereeniging Road Eikenhof.

It is alleged four males, armed with rifles, forced open the garage shop door and threatened the cashier, demanding her to open the till. The suspects held the petrol attendants and took their jackets and wore them. They took an undisclosed amount of cash and a cellphone.

The suspects shot at the cashier and two other customers who had come for petrol. One person was shot in the leg and taken to hospital. No arrests have been made.

SAPS are appealing to anyone who might have information to contact their nearest police station or crime line at 0860010111.
