THE grounds where the post box collection point is in Budack Avenue, Glenvista Ext 4, resembles a jungle!
The grass and weeds have completely taken over and residents have to really negotiate their way to the post boxes.
“This is beyond a joke, I’m worried to walk through the grass and weeds in fear of snakes. I leave collecting my post now to once a week, instead of the usual three times I would normally pop by to check for post,” a Glenvista resident told the CHRONICLE.
This is been ongoing since December with empty promises from Richard Naidoo, Post Office Area Manager, who was contacted on January 25, saying the grass and weeds would be cut back the following week.
