Long standing stalwart acknowledged

IT has been about fifteen years now that Gail Hibbert has served on the ward 56 ward committee, holding the health portfolio.
Throughout the three terms that she has served, her passion was unmatched. Not a month went by when she didn’t attend the clinic committee meetings at the Rosettenville clinic and she always displayed a deep love for the suburb of Townsview where she resided and had an interest in assisting and improving the area in any small way that she could.
Unfortunately, she did not avail herself to be a candidate again in the recent ward committee elections, as she has relocated to Edenvale.
“Having first served with Gail on the ward 56 ward committee for the 2011-to-2016 ward committee period, and then working with her as the ward councillor, I would like to thank her for all the hard work she’s given the ward over the years!” said ward councillor Michael Crichton.
Crichton also took the opportunity to wish the new ward committee member for Health, Rejoice Soqaka, all the best for the term ahead.
