Distance yourself and avoid eye contact.

Distance yourself and avoid eye contact.
Kobeli Mokheseng, spokesperson for the EMPD, said that if the aggressor follows you, do not drive home. Instead, drive to a shopping mall, hospital, police station or any public place.
To avoid being aggressive or causing aggression on the roads, Kobeli offered the following advice:
- Avoid driving when tired.
- Stay off your cellphone unless fitted with hands-free.
- Avoid caffeine or substances that could make you agitated.
- Play soft music.
- Plan ahead and leave on time.
- Follow the rules of the road.
- Always use the ‘Thank you’ wave.
- Don’t tailgate.
- Keep both your hands on the steering wheel.
