Library needs donations

Kumari Jackson (teacher) is coordinating the project.

SUIDHEUWELS Primary School’s library has been obsolete for over 30 years and the school wants to revive it to its former glory.

They are pleading with the community of the South and surrounding areas to donate books that can be read by their learners to increase their literacy level.

Kumari Jackson, a teacher at the school and coordinator of the project, said: “We have outdated books in this library and we need books urgently. Individuals or schools can come to the school to donate books so that we can fill these empty shelves and put away the outdated books.”

The school is situated at 45 Quantock Road, South Hills and can be contacted on 011 613 3977.
