Empowering women in roadshow across SA

Women will benefit from first-hand mentoring by exchanging ideas.

MRS South Africa has kick-started its roadshow to allow South African married women between the ages of 25 and 50 to interact, learn and be mentored by the Mrs South Africa team.

Hlengiwe Twala is the reigning Mrs South Africa 2017 and she will be travelling the country to meet and greet potential entrants in Bloemfontein, George, Port Elizabeth, Nelspruit, Durban, Cape Town and Johannesburg.

Women will benefit from first-hand mentoring by exchanging ideas. Each workshop will also include a special question and answer session focusing on the Mrs South Africa opportunities one gains should they enter the pageant.

Olwethu Leshabane (first princess), Lilliana Lulli-Marruchi (second princess) and Claire Gardiner (Mrs Charity) will also be present.

Mrs South Africa (Pty) Ltd is the number one pageant for married women in South Africa. It is a women-empowerment programme, not a beauty pageant in the traditional sense of the word.

The roadshow will end at Emperors Palace and the teams hope to welcome a host of Gauteng entrants on Saturday, February 26.

The team will be in Johannesburg from February 24 to 26.

Those who think they have what it takes can register online on the Mrs South Africa website: https://mrssouthafrica.co.za/welcome/index.php/entry-form. Entries close on March 1, 2017.
