THE South African National Blood Service (SANBS) encourages residents to help someone live a life filled with joy, love and hope.
For many in need of blood transfusions, finding that perfect match isn’t easy. It goes far beyond blood type. That’s why every person who donates blood is unique and special.
Your blood could be one of a kind. A blood donor can be the single person of the seven billion on the planet needed to save another human life. Like Cristiano Ronaldo, inspire and motivate your friends to donate blood and help them realise the profound impact they can have on someone’s life.
Join the SANBS on January 25, from 08:30 to 18:00, for a blood drive at the Southdale donor centre, Southdale Shopping Centre (eastwing entrance). Donors will be served cheese and wine through the day.
The donor centre is open at the following times: Monday 13:00 to 16:30, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 08:30 to 16:30, Wednesday 08:30 to 18:00 and Saturday 08:30 to 14:00.
