South’s schools start seamlessly

As grade one children arrived at their respective schools, some were a little nervous but most full of smiles.

FOR the children of the South, the first day of school was a time many of them had been looking forward to – and as moms and dads escorted their little ones into school on Wednesday, January 11, it was smiles all round.

Most schools were well organised and ready to go, when the school bell rang and as name tags were put on to each child and desks allocated, excitement mounted as the children prepared for their first day of ‘big’ school.
