Renaissance residents get new glasses

An additional pair of reading glasses was donated when a customer bought a pair of glasses

CLICKS Pharmacy, in Glenvista, recently held a campaign that saw one of its suppliers donating reading glasses, which the store, in turn, donated to Renaissance Retirement Village.

The store’s supplier donated an extra set of reading glasses when a customer bought a pair of glasses, and this successful campaign saw a total of 50 pairs of glasses being donated to the delighted residents of Renaissance Retirement Village.

“I believe this is a great way of giving back to our community and it is a ‘thank you’ gift to our senior citizens for supporting our store,” said the branch manager of Clicks Pharmacy Glenvista, Bheki Tshabalala.
