RESIDENTS are reminded of a fund-raiser that is being planned and organised to improve the financial state of the R.E.C Wellness Centre in Harry Street, Robertsham.
The centre works towards curbing drug addiction among youth in the South.
The event will have various entertainment acts and a beauty pageant, with categories for ages six to 10, 11 to 15 and 16 to 21 – vouchers and hampers are to be won.
The fund-raiser will be hosted on Friday, December 16, from 09:00 in the morning until late. Stall space is available and more interested parties are invited to take part and help raise funds.
There will also be a drug awareness march and an enticing car show.

The centre has helped a lot of young people turn their lives around and the community’s support would be much appreciated because the centre does not charge money to help people and relies heavily on individuals for funding, and also hopes to see more corporate support.
