Giving a good night sleep

Previously the children had to sleep on the floor and Daphne Gafoor and her daughter Yasmien Arendse, who run the centre, said: “We thank the Lions from the bottom of our hearts for helping us, thank you so very much.”

THE Lions recently visited I Spy Day Care Centre, situated in Eighth Street, La Rochelle, and delivered 35 new mattresses and groceries for the month.

The centre houses 70 children from birth to seven years old and sometimes children with special needs. Previously the children had to sleep on the floor and Daphne Gafoor and her daughter Yasmien Arendse, who run the centre, said:

“We thank the Lions from the bottom of our hearts for helping us, thank you so very much.”

The centre is in desperate need of educational toys,  puzzles, books and toys. If you would like to assist or need more information, please contact Tammy du Plooy on 082 371 7053.
