Approximately 15 injured after taxi rolls

The exact cause of the collision is not yet known but local authorities were on scene for further investigations.

Approximately 15 people were injured this morning after a taxi rolled on the N12 before the Lenasia turn-off in Lenasia.

ER24 paramedics, along with various other services, arrived on the scene and found the taxi in the centre island between the two highways.

Most of the occupants had already been pulled out from the vehicle by members of the public.

On assessment, paramedics discovered that approximately 15 people had sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate.

Paramedics on scene treated the patients and provided the seriously injured with advanced life support interventions.

Once treated, the patients were transported to various provincial hospitals for urgent treatment.
