Join fund-raiser for baby Caylum

Electron View Centre is hosting a lunch on October 9 at 13:00 to raise funds for Caylum.

COME and enjoy a great afternoon with good food and entertainment in aid of baby Caylum with Electron View Centre.

Electron View Centre is hosting a lunch on October 9 at 13:00 at the Nucleo Portuguese Club corner of Victoria and Wemmer Pan Road, Regents Park.

Caylum was born on January 12 and diagnosed with trachea esophageal fistula (TOF) and esophageal atresia (OA) by Netcare’s Dr Charles Caraphinha. This means he has problems with his esophagus (the feeding tube) and the trachea (the windpipe).

Caylum has spent most of his short life in hospital, and has been in ICU since May 9. His current preventative treatment is not sustainable. To save his life and give him a chance at a normal life, he needs an operation that can only be performed at the Boston Children’s Hospital by Dr Rusty Jennings and therefore help with funds are needed.

Members of the public are invited to enjoy a three-course meal, dance and entertainment with music by Blue Moon Productions to help raise funds to get Caylum to Boston. The cost is R2 400 for a table of eight. All proceeds will go to Caylum.

The account details to do an EFT is as follows: C Willemse, ABSA, branch code 632005, account number: 9318734302. Reference: surname + lunch. Proof of payment must emailed to info@caylum.org.za

For more information, contact Jacky on 083 361 9120 or Natasha on 082 402 8139.
