Christmas in July at Hair on Hythe

“Both the boxes contain a toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, deodorant, a treat (chocolate, etc) and the girls' boxes have sanitary towels and for the boys, a razor,” said Tracey.

HAIR on Hythe hair salon owned by Tracey Sham, is celebrating Christmas in July with a charity drive for teenagers.

“Every year we try and do something for a charity and this year we decided to collect shoeboxes for teenage girls and boys. Our clients and friends have been marvellous and have given shoeboxes filled with goodies or they have donated money so we can buy products for the teen boys and girls.

“Both the boxes contain a toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, deodorant, a treat (chocolate, etc) and the girls’ boxes have sanitary towels and for the boys, a razor,” said Tracey.

“There are so many charity organisations we’d like to assist, so depending on how many shoeboxes we get, we’ll then decide where they’ll go to,” added Tracey.

If you’d like to take part in this charity drive for teenagers, you can drop off a shoebox filled with the above products at Hair on Hythe, at The Broads Shopping Centre in Mulbarton. “Every box will make a difference to a teenager,” said Tracey. For more information phone 011 682 3064.
