Happy birthday Oscar
A special cake was baked for Oscar's birthday by Pat Hill.
JOY Dog Oscar celebrated his seventh birthday at Hamlet on Thursday July 7 and was accompanied by Jazmine and Yola. A special cake was baked for him by Pat Hill.
The residents and workers at Hamlet, 160 of them in total, all look forward to the JOY Dogs’ visits which take place every second Thursday and they were delighted to share his birthday with him. Connie Menezes baked a cake for everyone and Rona’s Coffee Place in Rifle Range Garden Centre as well as Café Fino at the Glen Shopping Centre also sponsored cakes. “We are grateful for funds raised by TJ’s Acoustic Music Club and the family of JOY Dogs’ assistant Karla Janse van Rensburg who helped to make this party such a success,” said Sue Green, the dogs’ owner.
