Alberton SPCA needs washing powder

The paws salute you.

WINTER presents all sorts of challenges for the SPCA and one is the constant need to wash blankets and dog jackets.

Alberton SPCA is in urgent need of washing powder and is asking for the community for help.

“We do not mind the name of the washing power, all we need is help to make our animals as comfortable as possible by providing clean blankets for the winter,” said the senior inspector, Kingston Siziba.

Donations of blankets and dog jackets would also be much appreciated. Without the support of the community the SPCA cannot survive as they do not receive any grants from the government.

“Please help us help those who cannot speak for themselves,” said Siziba.

Alberton SPCA sends a huge thank you for all the support and kindness. “We are very grateful for the donations received to date. The paws salute you.”

All donations can be dropped off at the branch, or monetary donations can be made to Absa, account number 9266 845 956, with the reference “washing”.
