BRACKENHURST Methodist Church is celebrating their 40th Birthday on April 9 and 10, at the church in Toinette Street.
There will be a twilight market with various stalls, including arts and crafts, and a variety food stalls selling burgers, boerewors rolls, traditional African cuisine and much more.
Entertainment includes a concert starting at 18:00, with dance and music from various musicians and bands, covering traditional to rock n roll, performing covers from the Beatles and great gospel numbers right up to John Mayer and Mega Trainer and many more.
The costs will be R10 per person and children under 12 enter for free. Tickets are available from the church office or on the day at the gate.
Sunday, April 10, at 09:30, the church will be having a special thanks-giving and dedication service followed by a finger lunch at 11:15.
All activities will be on the church’s premises with parking available at Laerskool Orion.
