MEETINGS are held at The Precinct, Klipriver Nature Reserve, Peggy Vera Road, Kibler Park of the Johannesburg South Garden Club with the next meeting at 10:00 on Saturday April 16.
Guest speaker, Bo van der Lecq, Project Manager of Klipriviersberg Verreaux’s Eagles Inc. Wits Bird Club will be talking about Verreaux’s Eagles.
On Tuesday, April 26 the club will be going to visit Brandmuller’s Nursery, in Vereeniging, with guest speaker, Michelle Coetzer (nursery owner) chatting about plants in season. Members have been offered a 10 per cent discount on plants purchased. Tea and scones will be offered on arrival with lunch served between 12:00 and 12:30, served at Spoons Restaurant in the nursery. Cost R70. Drinks will be for your own account. Meet at The Entrance Precinct at 09:00 for 09:15 to leave at 09:30.
