Autumn Flower Show cancelled

“We have received too few entries for the show and the committee has decided to cancel it. The severe drought has played havoc with members’ gardens and due to this there are too few entries to make the show viable,” said Maud Pickup, chairman of the Johannesburg South Garden Club.

“This is the first time we have ever had to cancel a flower show and we most certainly hope it will be the last. Our sincere apologies and we hope everyone who was planning on coming to see the show will understand our predicament.”
