BMW day at The Glen
"It’s always good to see BMW enthusiasts here as well as those who just want to admire the cars."
THE Glen Shopping Centre roof top was crowded on Sunday, March 13, as BMW owners and fans flocked to come and see the latest BMW’s as well as older models.
The day was well supported, with BMW owners coming to show their cars from as far away as Bloemfontein.
“We’ve had a great turn out again,” said Dean Myburgh, marketing manager at The Glen. “It’s always good to see BMW enthusiasts here as well as those who just want to admire the cars.”
One of the contestants, Shiraaz Mahomed, who drove from Bloemfontein in his E46 M3 said it was fantastic to be back again this year. “I drove through last year as well and The Glen puts on a super day,” he said.
Dean had organised a treat for one of the teens from St Mary’s Children’s Home, and Handsome Zondi was taken for a spin in Shiraaz’s car. “It was fantastic,” said Handsome, “And thanks so much to Dean for organising this ride for me.”
