New executive members of ECD

Southern Area Early Childhood Development Forum introduced new executive.

SOUTHERN Area Early Childhood Development Forum introduced new executive and co-opted members on Thursday, March 10, at a meeting at Pinch of Thyme in Haddon.

The forum was established with the vision of being the leading voice in all Early Childhood Development (ECD) strategies. Its mission is to unite ECD centres and be the representative forum that promotes child care development excellence by influencing policies within the ECD sector through the networking of service specific stakeholders and the implementation, facilitation and the upliftment of service standards among its members.

The new executive members for 2016 are: Lunga Mkhize (chairperson), Samantha Retief (vice chair), Natasha Pillay (secretary), Linda Skupien (administrator) and Clare Keeler (treasurer). The co-opted members are: Lauren le Roux, Marlene Allen, Grace Plank and Bongekile Ndabandaba.
