Mondeor High celebrates

Mondeor High School’s top learners are Riyaadh Bismilla who achieved five distinctions and Lesego Tabane who earned four distinctions in math, science, accounting and history.

LEARNERS from Mondeor High School gathered outside the school from 08:30 on Wednesday, January 6, waiting to hear their matric results. Some already knew their fate, having checked them online or from a newspaper after midnight that morning. The school principal, Mrs V Nicolaou, said, “We had 319 matriculants and achieved a 95 per cent matric pass rate with 188 bachelor degree passes. Considering we have learners from differing backgrounds, I’m extremely happy with our results.”

Mondeor High School’s top learners are Riyaadh Bismilla who achieved five distinctions and Lesego Tabane who earned four distinctions in math, science, accounting and history. “I’m thrilled to have gotten the four distinctions and I’ll be going onto Wits, studying a BComm in accounting science,” said a delighted Lesego.
