Eight years for housebreaking and theft

A house breaking and theft case gets this criminal eight years in prisonment

JOHANNESBURG SOUTH – On October 6, Nhlanhla Phaswa (30) was sentenced to eight years imprisonment, by the Johannesburg Magistrate Court, for housebreaking and theft.

This follows an incident in Villa Palamos complex, Ridgeway, on November 20, 2014. The suspect was apprehended by the Sector 2 patrollers and ADT security when they received information that the suspect was inside the complainant’s property.

The case was assigned to Constable Gugu Thwala of Mondeor Detectives Services for further investigation.

Mondeor SAPS Detective Branch Commander, Lieutenant Colonel Haasbroek, welcomes the conviction and would like to commend the investigating officer for her efforts throughout the investigation.
