Traffic alert: Possible delays in Johannesburg
Road closures, increased volumes on bus services and the Gautrain should be expected.
A TRAFFIC alert has been released by the EFF, notifying motorists of a scheduled protest march by EFF members on October 27, at 10:00, which will affect roads in Johannesburg and Sandton.
The march will move from Beyers Naude Square to the Chamber of Mines in Newtown, to hand over a memorandum, and will proceed to the Reserve Bank in the Johannesburg CBD and then continue to the Johannesburg Stock Exchange in Sandton.
The EFF has warned commuters to expect road closures and transport disruptions along the major north-south transport spine of Oxford/Rivonia roads and the Sandton CBD.
Increased volumes on bus services and the Gautrain should also be expected.
