Token of kindness to JSPCA

Five armed men broke into the premises and stole five computers, a television screen, an undisclosed amount of money

JOHANNESBURG SOUTH – Final Few South Motorcycle Club donated R1 000 to Johannesburg SPCA after the society was robbed earlier this month

Kathy Greissel, secretary of Final Few South Motorcycle Club, urges other bikers from the South to follow suit. “We would like to make a small donation to the JSPCA to help our animal friends. This is after the robbers felt it was their duty to steal from them. My sincere gratitude to my national president, Keith Duranty, president Mario Parsons and vice president Peter Bardenhorst. Also, we would like to thank Hilton Govindasamy and Joey Naidoo from Robertsham Callies Football Club for facilitating this handover,” she said.

On behalf of the Johannesburg SPCA, Jolene Beyleveld thanked Kathy and the bikers of the club for the donation to the Johannesburg SPCA. “Your kindness is truly appreciated,” she said.

The night duty staff of Johannesburg SPCA, in Reuven, were held at gun point during the early hours of Thursday morning, October 1.

Five armed men broke into the premises and stole five computers, a television screen, an undisclosed amount of money and cellular telephones.

No animals were harmed or stolen during the robbery.
